Title Plan
Title Plan
The Title plan illustrates the extent of the property owned, outlining it in red. Where parts of the property are affected by rights of Way or restrictive covenants, coloured markings are used to indicate them. Areas of land removed from ownership are outlined in green. This document is the other official document proving ownership and is used by property professionals and non-professionals alike.
Markings and colours used in the The Title Plan are described and explained in the Title Register. You may, therefore, consider it prudent to include the Title Register with your purchase.

_________________________________ These two documents are the official documents proving ownership (or non-ownership) of a property. They are packed with information relating to ownership, tenure, purchase price, mortgages, date of purchase, easements and covenants. Read together, they contain all the information needed to prove ownership. Sometimes it is wise to obtain further details of the covenants and easements, which can be done by obtaining the conveyancing deeds.
By using Land Registry Online, you will be able to quickly obtain official copies of Land Registry Title Registers and Title Plans, Leases and Deeds, as well as many other conveyancing searches and environmental reports.
